I've spent over two decades designing, securing, and operating production systems for organizations where failure wasn't an option. My work has spanned hands-on engineering and executive leadership roles at companies including The Hartford, Cyware, Prometheus Alternative Investments, and earlier in my career IBM, Wells Fargo, AIG, and Honda Aircraft.
My background sits at the intersection of security, reliability, and cloud engineering. I've led large-scale cloud migrations, built SOC2-aligned security and disaster recovery programs, and helped teams adopt DevOps and SRE practices that reduced outages, noise, and cost. I'm a CISSP and have served in acting CISO and director-level roles, working directly with executives while remaining deeply technical.
Why I started Secunit Mercantile
